We are available to help you find quality child care programs in your
area. Simply contact us with your name, city,
state and zip code and we can find local programs in your area who are
not only licensed but those which are accredited by the local, national
accreditation organizations.
We offer a variety of trainings for parents and families. We offer
these trainings at local child care programs, community centers,
colleges and even in parent’s homes. Below is a link to several
parenting classes we offer.

To request information on holding a workshop at your child care
program, your community center or another convenient location, we
will need a group of 10 parents to start up a class. Just
contact us and tell us the class your interested in and who to contact and
we will be happy to come to you and do a workshop.

The Single Parent Family: A Challenge for Parents
Parenting in a single parent family can be challenging. This
workshop is ideal for parents who have been there, are there, or will
be in the future.

PARENTING & DIVORCE
Cooperative Parenting and Divorce Program
This workshop helps parents learn to shield their children from
parental conflict while establishing a positive, long-term
relationship with the child's other parent. The program is designed
for groups of 10 to 16 parents and is divided into 8 sessions.

KINDERSIGN 101
A Sign Language Program
for Children 6 months - 18 months
A workshop that will teach the parent/caregiver how to
teach their baby sign language. Infants are born with an instinctive
need to communicate. But learning to talk takes time-plus it requires
the type of motor skills that babies only begin to master around their
first birthday. Studies have shown that while babies may lack the
motor skills, they do have the ability to understand and use language
well before they can speak. And given the right guidance, they have
much to say - with their hands! Until recent years, sign language was
used as a method of communicating only with the hearing impaired.
Research now shows us that signing is also an effective way to
communicate with hearing babies. And even more remarkably, signing
enables babies to "talk" back. But there are other reasons to teach
your baby to sign...
• Babies that sign speak earlier that
non-signers
• Experience less frustration
• Have IQ's that are at least 10-12 points higher
• Develop larger vocabularies
Approximately 50 signs will be taught in
this course and will be categorized for you. Then I will help you set
goals to determine which signs you want to introduce to your baby.
Most parents use between 10 and 20. This class is an hour and half
workshop for parents to learn how to teach their baby, it is not an
interactive class with the baby. Please do not bring the baby with you
to class.
